Indiana Trump Voters Say They Feel ‘Burned’ By Broken Promise To Save Jobs

Some Indiana supporters of President Donald Trump feel “burned” by his campaign promise to save manufacturing jobs.

Beth Henderson told CNN that she’s worried about Trump’s proposed tariffs could hurt her farm’s access to overseas markets.

Henderson also complained about Trump’s “outbursts,” which were frequent during his 2016 campaign:

He’s so blase about some of his behaviors. It just doesn’t bother him.

Renee Elliott said she was disappointed that Carrier continued to move many jobs down to Mexico, despite Trump’s pledge to keep them all in the U.S.:

I feel burned for a lot of reasons.

Brian Bousum said he was disappointed by Trump after he lost his job at a Rexnord manufacturing plant when it moved to Mexico.
