Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s DNA Test Proves Native American Heritage, Trump Now Denies Promising To Donate $1 Million If She Proved ‘Indian’ Ancestry
Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts released a DNA test that shows “strong evidence’’ she has a Native American in her family going back 6 to 10 generations, refuting President Donald Trump’s false claim that she is not Native American (video below).
Warren have been mocked by Trump and other Republicans for years, but proved them all to be liars when she shared the results with the Boston Globe on Oct. 14, a move that may signal she is serious about running for president in 2020.
The analysis of the DNA was performed by Carlos D. Bustamante, a Stanford University professor and expert in the field.
White House advisor Kellyanne Conway told CNN’s Abby Phillip that she had not seen the DNA results, but called it “junk science”:
I haven’t looked at the test. I know that everybody likes to pick their junk science or sound science depending on the conclusion it seems some days. But I haven’t looked at the DNA test and it really doesn’t interest me…
Trump had promised a million dollars to anyone who could prove Warren is Native American, but Phillip reports that Trump now denies he ever made the promise to pay even though he has been filmed saying it (video below):
