Roxli Doss’ inoperable cancerous brain tumor is gone and doctors in Texas have no explanation.
The brain tumor was diagnosed in June, but now does not appear on her MRI imaging.
Dr. Virginia Harrod with Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas, told KVUE via USA TODAY that now 11-year-old went through weeks of radiation, even though there is no cure:
When I first saw Roxli’s MRI scan, it was actually unbelievable. The tumor is undetectable on the MRI scan, which is really unusual.
Doctors can’t explain why the tumor disappeared, but the family is thanking God. The parents said doctors double-checked Roxli’s scans to confirm the results. Roxli will continue to undergo immunotherapy, as a precaution.
A GoFundMe has been created to help the family with medical bills.
