Fox News Viewers Tweet Racist Comments About Philando Castille’s Girlfriend Receiving $800K Police Shooting Settlement

Fox News reports that Diamond Reynolds — who filmed her boyfriend Philando Castile dying after being fatally shot by Officer Jeronimo Yanez in Minnesota in 2016 — is receiving $800,00 in settlements.

Castile was shot and killed by Yanez while reaching for his ID as Yanez told him to. Yanez threatened to shoot Reynolds, and didn’t perform CPR on Castile (video below).

For the trauma that she endured and a false arrest, Reynolds will receive $675,000 from the city of St. Anthony, as well as $125,000 from the city of Roseville and the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust.

The settlement didn’t sit well with Fox News viewers who posted racist attacks on Twitter:
