After taking a weeklong vacation amid advertisers leaving her Fox News show, Laura Ingraham complained about “the left’s plot to silence conservatives” on April 9.
Parkland school shooting survivor David Hogg recently called for an advertiser boycott of the “Ingraham Angle” after Ingraham mocked Hogg for being rejected by some colleges. In response, as many as 20 advertisers fled the Fox News show.
Ingraham fired back on her show, where she played the victim card:
Let’s face it: Expressing views that just five or 10 years ago were considered mainstream can now get you fired. It can cause to you lose a promotion. Or you could be branded a hater, or, yes, you can get boycotted.
Meanwhile, Hogg’s mother, Rebecca Boldrick, told CNN that her son has been accepted at the University of California, Irvine, “but he will not be going to college this year because he’s decided to take a year off and work on the midterm elections.”
