Fox News Host Laura Ingraham Was Convicted Of Shoplifting
Fox News host Laura Ingraham was reportedly convicted of shoplifting when she was 19 years old back in January 1983.
The Smoking Gun notes that a court docket in Hanover, New Hampshire, shows that Ingraham pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting while attending Dartmouth College.
“The Ingraham Angle” host was fined $200 and given a conditional discharge for her theft.
Ingraham’s crime was annulled (per the conditional discharge), but the court docket was accidentally released to The Smoking Gun (TSG):
Five months after her collar, Ingraham’s criminal case was annulled, according to an entry on the criminal docket. After mailing TSG a copy of the docket in response to a written request, a court official said that the document was mistakenly released by clerk’s office personnel.
Ingraham said on her radio show on May 31 that the pardon for D’Souza “was long overdue,” reported Media Matters.
