Four Republicans Senators Won’t Disclose Their Vaccination Status, Sen. Mike Braun Parrots Abortion Lie About Vaccine
The Washington Post reports that GOP Sens. Rick Scott (Fla.), Ron Johnson (Wis.), Sen. Mike Braun (Ind.) and Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.) refused to disclose their specific vaccination status even though COVID-19 has killed over half a million Americans.
Scott and Johnson refused to respond, while Braun parroted a right wing lie about COVID vaccines being tied to abortion. Braun whined about those “keeping tabs on who has or has not received a vaccine through ‘passports’ or lists.”
A spokesperson for Paul said the senator has (somehow) “developed an immune defense to the virus” after testing positive for coronavirus in March 2020, and is “following the science on the vaccines and masks for those who have developed immunity.”
