Former Starbucls CEO Howard Schultz told “^0 Minutes” that he may be running for president as an independent candidate, which could split the anti-Trump vote in 2020.
Schultz, who is worth $3.5 billion sais he was willing to spend “what’s necessary.” and added that he was willing to release his tax returns.
Schultz admitted that no independent candidate has ever won (including former President Teddy Roosevelt when he ran as an independent), but believes he can win because forty person of Americans are registered independents or affiliates themselves as independents.
