Florida Police Harass & Tase Innocent Black Man, Taxpayers May Be Held Responsible

A newly-released body cam video shows Police Officers James Barlow and Chris Robles harassing and tasing an innocent black man, Holley Delton Jones, who was shopping at a 7-Eleven on April 15, 2018.

Jones has now filed a federal civil rights lawsuit — violations of the First and Fourth Amendment rights –against the officers., but taxpayers could be financially responsible, reports the News-Press.

Police charged Jones with disturbing the peace, resisting an officer without violence, heroin possession, and marijuana possession, but all of the charges were dropped.
