FBI Arrests Mail Bomb Suspect, Cesar Sayoc Jr., Van Has Pro-Trump Stickers, Social Media Also Pro-Trump
The FBI arrested a mail bomb suspect, Cesar Sayoc Jr. — whose van is reportedly plastered with pro-Trump stickers and whose social media pages are filled with pro-Trump postings — in Plantation, Florida (pictures below).
Sayoc was arrested and detained because of an alleged connection to a string of homemade pipe bombs mailed to several Democrats including former president Barack Obama, Bill and Hillary Clinton, former attorney general Eric Holder and former CIA Director John Brennan at CNN’s New York studios.
Justice Department Spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores tweeted: “We can confirm one person is in custod.”
Sources said DNA evidence played a role in Sayoc’s arrest near an auto parts store, reports CBS Evening News.
