Facebook Head Mark Zuckerberg Said Steve Bannon ‘Did Not Cross The Line’ by Threatening Dr. Fauci and FBI Head: Report
Facebook head Mark Zuckerberg reportedly told his staff that former Trump White House adviser Steve Bannon “did not cross the line” when he called for the beheading of Dr. Anthony Fauci and FBI Director Christopher Wray because they were not loyal enough to President Donald Trump on Nov. 5.
Reuters claims to have heard a recording of the meeting and Zuckerberg’s tortured logic:
We have specific rules around how many times you need to violate certain policies before we will deactivate your account completely. While the offenses here, I think, came close to crossing that line, they clearly did not cross the line.
While Zuckerberg gave Bannon a pass, Bannon’s own lawyer did not. William Burck, who was defending Bannon against federal fraud charges, announced he was leaving on Nov. 6, noted The New York Times.
