During an appearance on Fox Business, Dr. Ben Carson pushed hydroxychloroquine, a long-debunked cure for COVID-19 that was promoted by former President Donald Trump, who never used it when he became ill from the coronavirus.
Carson falsely claimed the the “evidence” existed, but blamed unidentified people for not investigating it:
You just said a bunch of people have poo-pooed the hydroxychloroquine. But the evidence is there. What they haven’t done is investigated it. You know, and that’s part of the problem. And that’s why people don’t have confidence in our system.
After host Neil Cavuto later debunked Carson, he whined about unidentified people not talking about “natural immunity.”
