Disgraced Ex-Fox News Head Bill Shine Is Trump’s New Deputy Chief Of Staff For Communications
Bill Shine, the disgraced former co-president of Fox News, is joining the Trump White House as the Deputy Chief Of Staff For Communications (video below).
Shine resigned from Fox News in 2017 among multiple allegations that he knew about and covered up sexual harassment of women by the late Fox News CEO Roger Ailes and former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, noted ABC News.
An unidentified Fox News executive told Buzzfeed News:
It’s extraordinary that the president of the United States could hire someone like this. This is someone who is highly knowledgeable of women being cycled through for horrible and degrading behavior by someone who was an absolute monster.
An unidentified Republican source close to the White House added:
I think it could be one of the worst mistakes that the president has made. It’s just not a smart idea.
