Coronavirus Denier Kayleigh McEnany Replaces 2 Time DUI Offender Stephanie Grisham as Trump’s Press Secretary
Kayleigh McEnany, who has denied the coronavirus, has replaced two-time DUI offender Stephanie Grisham as President Donald Trump’s press secretary, notes the New York Times.
McEnany, a former spokeswoman for Republican National Committee, said on Feb. 25 that Trump would not allow the coronavirus to come to the U.S., notes MSNBC producer Kyle Griffin:
This President will always put America first … We will not see diseases like the Coronavirus come here, we will not see terrorism come here, and isn’t that refreshing when contrasting it with the awful Presidency of President Obama.
McEnany, who graduated Harvard with a law degree, was shocked and outraged to learn in 2018 that the U.S. Constitution was written by and for wealthy white men who owned property.
McEnany, who claims to be Christian, also defended Trump’s bragging about sexual assaulting women and Trump’s sexist remarks, reported Media Matters.
McEnany also pushed birther conspiracy theories about President Obama when he was in office.

In August 2019, McEnany made the ludicrous claim on CNN that Trump doesn’t lie.
Grisham will become the chief of staff for First Lady Melania Trump. Grisham previously served as her press secretary. Grisham failed to hold one White House press briefing in her nine months in the role, reported the New York Times.
Trump administration officials said that Trump’s new incoming White House chief of staff, former Rep. Mark Meadows (R-North Carolina), has clashed with Grisham and targeted her as someone he wanted to replace.
