Cop Called To Hardee’s To Remove Homeless Vet, Bought Him Food Instead

Police were called to a Hardee’s restaurant in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to remove a homeless veteran who was begging for money on May 26.

Horry County Police officer CJ Mullinax answered the call, but instead of arresting or beating the homeless veteran, Mullinax bought him meal.

Victoria Paige Summer, an employee at the Hardee’s, filmed the incident and wrote on Facebook:

Police were called to our restaurant today because a homeless man was asking people for their scraps to eat. This police officer bought the homeless man food and handled the situation amazingly!
