A squirrel charged police after breaking into a home in Brockport, New York, on Dec. 29.
Police responded to a report of a break in, which included cookie eating by the squirrel. When the cops entered the kitchen, the squirrel refused to obey their commands and resisted arrested by jumping around the kitchen.
At one point, the officers felt their lives were in danger when the squirrel jumped off a table towards on the cops.
Despite placing the officers’ lives in danger, as well as civilians, the squirrel was not shot or taser per regular protocol, but rather captured and released without injury.
