Christian Man Plants Crosses For Santa Fe Shooting Victims, Including Muslim, Without Permission

Greg Zanis, of the group Crosses for Losses, often goes to scenes of mass shootings plant crossers for the victims even if they are not Christians, without permission  from the families.

Zanis recently showed up in Santa Fe, Texas, with 10 crosses for the 10 shooting victims even though there’s no proof they were all Christians. In fact, one of the shooting victims was Sabika Sheikh, a Muslim exchange student from Pakistan.

According to The Express Tribune, Houston’s Muslim community held a funeral service for the 17-year-old student on May 20 at the Islamic center in Stafford, Texas.

Zanis told KRIV that he met with two family members, but made no mention of getting permission from all the victims’ families.

KRIV also spoke to a representative from the Billy Graham Evangelical Association, whose volunteers flock to natural disasters and shootings to “counsel” people, but there have been reports that the volunteers try to exploit tragedies and convert people to Christianity at their most vulnerable moments
