Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh repeated the same rehearsed talking points during a bizarre robotic interview with Fox News:
I am looking for a fair process.
And all I’m asking for is fairness and that I be heard in this process.
No, I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone. Not in high school, not ever.
I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone in high school or otherwise.
I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone in high school or at any time.
The third talking point was about the 65 women who “miraculously produced a letter of support” for Kavanaugh, who failed to mention that number of supporters has dropped closer to a dozen.
Kavanaugh refused to let his wife, Ashley Kavanaugh, answer a question about allowing the FBI to investigate the sexual assault claims by Christine Blasey Ford:
I’ve said that all along and Ashley, too, I want to be heard. I want a fair process where I can defend my integrity and clear my name as quickly as I can in whatever forum the Senate deems appropriate.
