Brett Kavanaugh Accused Of Physically Assaulting 4th Victim In 1998 While Drunk
Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh has been accused of physically assaulting a fourth woman — whom he socialized with – in Washington D.C. in 1998.
A mother of one of the witnesses informed Republican Sen. Cory Gardner of Colorado of the incident in a letter, notes NBC News:
When they left the bar (under the influence of alcohol) they were all shocked when Brett Kavanaugh, shoved her friend up against the wall very aggressively and sexually. There were at least four witnesses including my daughter.
A Republican aide on the Senate Judiciary Committee said that Republican Senate investigators asked Kavanaugh today about this new complaint, which Kavanaugh denied, reports NBC News.
In response, Democratic Sen. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii said: “There are certain areas that I’ve been interested in. He could be perjuring himself because of his response to my question about whether he had ever” engaged in sexual misconduct “as an adult. He could have perjured himself.”
