Arizona SWAT Team Breaks Down Family’s Door Because Parents Did Not Take Recovering Toddler To Hospital

Video has surfaced of an armed SWAT team breaking down a family’s door because the parents had not taken their 2-year-old son, who was recovering, to the emergency room in Chandler, Arizona in February.

The parents said they ignored a doctor’s recommendation to take their 2-year-old to the hospital because their son’s fever had decreased, notes the Arizona Republic.

The doctor reportedly called the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS), which called the police to do a welfare check on a child with a 100 degree-plus fever and no vaccinations.

DCS removed the parents’ three children from the home.

DCS refused to answer questions from the Arizona Republic.
