Apple unveiled its new iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, which all work with fast 5G networks around the world.
Additionally, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max feature a new LIDAR sensor for augmented reality (AR). Users will be able to drop digital items on top of the real world objects seen on the phone’s screen, reports CNBC.
The LIDAR sensor can also create 3D scans of rooms with depth data to make autofocus faster. The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max also include a telephoto lens, wide and ultra-wide lenses and bigger camera sensors.
The iPhone 12 Pro can record professional-looking videos using HDR and supports recording Dolby Vision videos.
The iPhone 12 Pro starts at $999 and goes on sale Oct. 23 with pre-orders starting on Oct. 16. The iPhone 12 Pro Max starts at $1099 and goes on sale on Nov. 13 with pre-orders on Nov. 6.
