An anti-coronavirus safety rally in Arizona ended with unmasked protesters holding hands while singing “Amazing Grace,” tweeted KPNX reporter Michael Doudna.
The crowd called Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey “dumb as crap” and demanded he lift his stay-at-home order. A speaker told the crowd: “We are going to open up anyway.”
Arizona State Rep. Kelly Townsend (R) told the crowd not to believe death-rate numbers.

Rep Townsend “are you going to trust the numbers tomorrow”

The Associated Press reports that two sheriffs — Mohave County Sheriff Doug Schuster and Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb — are refusing to enforce Gov. Ducey’s stay-at-home order even though the coronavirus death toll continues to grow daily.
