Amy Schumer Protests Against Kavanaugh, Tells Cops She Wants To Be Arrested

Comedian Amy Schumer was arrested while protesting Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in the Hart Senate Office Building on Washington D.C. (more video below).

In a video tweeted by @bennyjohnson, a Capitol police officer asks Schumer and other protesters if they want to be arrested.

Schumer answers, “yes” while holding a “We believe Anita Hill” sign.

Twitter user @Theboldtype_z also tweeted a video (below) in which Schumer said: “Hi Zola, I’m here with your mom. She loves you very much. I think we are going to get arrested and we’re so proud of you.”
