Two young women wearing “Make America Great Again” hats accused Jewish-owned Carmine’s restaurant of being anti-Semitic because of a two-hour wait in New York City on Nov. 4.
In a video — promoted by right-wing activist Charlie Kirk and Fox News host Laura Ingraham — one of the women said:
So we got turned down as two Jewish women. Just got turned down in a restaurant in New York!
However, Carmine’s debunked the alleged “discrimination” the Trump supporters:
Carmine’s, whose owners are Jewish, did not turn away anyone based on politics/religion. There was a 2 hour wait Saturday, the night before the NYC Marathon when we served pasta to people from all walks of life. Those w/out a reservation were asked to wait due to space available
